We guide players through meaningful, game-based learning experiences—where growth, confidence, and community matter more than perfection.
We don't chase perfection—we design practices that help players think, adapt, and make real-time decisions. Every rep is a chance to grow through the game itself.
We believe the best athletes are happy athletes. Our environment balances competitive drive with genuine enjoyment, creating a space where players can take risks without fear.
We respect your time and budget with reasonable practice schedules, thoughtful tournament selection, and transparent costs—because volleyball should enhance family life, not dominate it.
Tualatin Valley Volleyball Club was founded in 2024 with a clear purpose: to make high-quality volleyball accessible, joyful, and rooted in what matters most—the growth of the athlete.
As a new coach at Century High School, our director recognized a gap in the local volleyball landscape. Too many families were priced out of club sports, or overwhelmed by demanding schedules and rigid training that left little room for joy. TVVC was born to change that.
We launched our first season in 2024–2025 with six teams and a commitment to do things differently:
Our mission goes beyond wins and rankings. We aim to spark a lifelong love of the game, nurture curiosity, and help each player grow into a confident, adaptable human being—on and off the court.
These ten principles guide everything we do at TVVC—from how we design practices to how we communicate with athletes. They reflect our commitment to developing not just better volleyball players, but confident, resilient individuals.
We embrace questions, exploration, and learning through experience—because growth comes from the unknown.
Our training environments prepare athletes to thrive in dynamic, unpredictable game situations—not just controlled drills.
Players are active participants in their learning journey, empowered to reflect, make choices, and find their own solutions.
We build trust and understanding first—because meaningful change only happens in safe, supportive relationships.
Every activity is rooted in the context of the game, helping athletes connect movement with intention.
Struggle isn't failure—it's feedback. We welcome it as part of the growth process.
We remove unnecessary constraints and let athletes test, adjust, and discover what works for them.
Coaches and players bring their whole selves. We don't fake intensity or force perfection—we show up real.
We believe learning is best fueled by enjoyment, laughter, and shared excitement.
We hold high expectations, but meet athletes where they are—guiding with empathy, not control.
Our girls' club teams compete in regional events through CEVA, providing a fun, affordable, and development-focused experience. We offer teams across multiple age groups and skill levels, ensuring every athlete has the opportunity to grow, play, and find the right fit for their journey.
Fees include: coaching, practice facilities, tournament entries, uniforms, and administrative costs. Payment plans are available.
Note: Prices listed are estimates and may be subject to change before tryouts due to gym rental costs, tournament pricing, and uniform pricing changes.
Fun, supportive environment focused on building confidence and game understanding through play-based learning. We emphasize joy, teamwork, and the fundamentals of volleyball.
Developing skills while learning to read the game in real-time. We focus on decision-making and communication in a growth-first environment where development matters more than outcomes.
A competitive space for athletes to elevate skills and leadership. Whether pursuing college volleyball or finishing their club journey, we focus on meaningful training and personal growth.
We're excited to announce the launch of our boys' volleyball program for the 2025-2026 season! Following the same athlete-first philosophy as our girls' program, our boys' teams will offer an affordable, accessible, and development-focused experience.
Registration details, tryout information, and program specifics will be announced in early 2025. Join our mailing list to be the first to know about our boys' program launch!
At TVVC, our coaches aren't just experienced — they're intentional. Each member of our staff is certified, background-checked, and trained in our athlete-first coaching philosophy. With diverse playing and coaching backgrounds, they bring a shared commitment to creating positive, growth-driven environments where players feel supported, challenged, and inspired to love the game.

We're not just looking for the most skilled players — we're looking for girls who are curious, coachable, and excited to grow. At TVVC, our girls' tryouts focus on learning potential, effort, attitude, and how players connect with others on the court.
Location: Century High School, 2000 SE Century Blvd, Hillsboro, OR 97123
How to Choose Your Age Group: Age groups are determined by how old a player will be on July 31, 2026.
For example, if a player will be 16 years old on July 31, 2026, they should register for 16U.
We recommend players try to play with their school grade when possible:
Pre-registration is required for all girls planning to attend tryouts.
Due to space and staffing limitations, we may not be able to accommodate walk-ins.
Girls' team registration will open in June 2025. Check back for updates!
