TVVC Tryout Prep Clinics

Our Tryout Prep Clinics are designed for players who want extra court time before club tryouts and a chance to experience how we train at TVVC.

These clinics give athletes an opportunity to work with our staff, sharpen their skills, play in game-like situations, and better understand the kind of learning environment we create. Players will be challenged to notice what is happening in the game, adapt to the problem in front of them, and commit to their next action.

This is a good fit for players who want to prepare for upcoming tryouts, get more comfortable before stepping into the tryout environment, or simply see whether TVVC feels like the right club for them.

Clinics will include a mix of skill work, competitive play, decision-making, and guided feedback. Participation in a clinic does not guarantee placement on a TVVC team, but it can help players feel more prepared, confident, and familiar with our staff and training style.

Come ready to compete, learn, ask questions, make mistakes, and solve the game.

TVVC Club Tryouts

TVVC tryouts are designed to help our staff evaluate players in realistic volleyball situations while giving athletes a chance to show how they compete, communicate, learn, and solve problems on the court.

Players should expect a mix of game-like activities, small-sided play, larger team situations, and competitive volleyball. We are not only looking at isolated skills. We are watching how players read the game, make decisions, respond to mistakes, support teammates, and adapt as the level of play changes.

Our goal is to place players in an environment where they can grow, contribute, and have a positive club volleyball experience. Team placement decisions will be based on overall fit, including skill level, competitive readiness, coachability, attitude, positional needs, and roster balance.

Tryouts can feel stressful, but players do not need to be perfect. We want athletes to compete hard, communicate, stay engaged, and keep playing the next ball.

Come ready to work, learn, compete, and show us how you play the game.
